The freezing of the melt is caused by thin walls. The   flow   ability   is   proportional   to   the   third   potency   of   the   thickness   of   the   part.   A   50%   reduction   in thickness   reduces   the   flow   ability   of   the   part   by   a   factor   of   eight   (or   increases   the   flow   resistance   by   a factor of eight)
